The Interest rate from the bank website is not clear so we have used the rate at (http://www.bc.gov.cu/espanol/tasas_interes.asp) which is applicable for 12 months/ 1 year term for the Convertible Peso (CUC) for individuals. Note CUP has a different interest rate yield.
The rate of 2.50% is 0.75% higher than the average 1.75%. Also it is the highest rate for this term period 2.50 Updated Aug, 2019
